This is a special day that you are now planning and one that can never be retaken or redone! A Professional Photographer has the vision, equipment, hardware and software to produce images that will be cherished and displayed in your home for decades to come. A friend of a friend or some guy with a camera is ok for some things- But, I have heard many times the regrets of not hiring a professional photographer! I have also heard of Professional Photographers with nice images online and in their albums only to deliver so-so or bad images. What you see is not always what you get! Select a photographer that you feel good with, review or meet with at least two to three professionals that you think will best meet you expectations and budget. Everyone wants their images as soon as possible! Your wedding images is not a MP3 player waiting to be shipped out or on the shelf of your local discount store. A Professional cares about your images and will spend as many days, weeks or months on the editing of your images and that of the other couples -that he or she has been hired to photograph. The images you receive are a direct representation of the professional you hire! You will enjoy great images- even if it takes far longer than expected! I personally edit and archive All of the images I take on your wedding day -I feel this is best! Some Studios or editing person might be pushing out images or not even care about how your images turn out looking! Some people in this business is here to make money and spit out work good or bad! There are two tpyes of photographers "Real Location Studio" and "In-Home Studios." A real location studio is good in many ways, some couple say they trust a real location studio because it is a real location! I have seen real location studios packed up and out of business leaving customers with out their photos! Photographers with in-home studios offer great overall service and pricing, without the high overhead, But this does not mean that a home studio can do your wedding for next to nothing! You really have to love what you are going into! Pricing should always be affordable, Yet- earn the profit you need to go forward. Never take on more work than "YOU" can handle in a timely fashion. One year I lowered prices & took on too many bookings.
Never lower your standards, never push work out even if you are behind! Pushed out work is never good work!
